  1. Is it getting fixed or recycled-- ?

  2. Last time I had a camera fixed, it cost $75, standard repair rate, no extras. (That was my FIRST 35mm camera, a $150-ish Nikon. It broke again almost immediately - same trouble as the first breakage - the automatic film rewinder. I never bought a Nikon again).

So right now - I have no definite plans for this little Minolta. I may do some research to find out if it is fixable, & within a reasonable $ rate. BUT it already had some over-use issues.

  7. No handfuls of dirt. Family MAUSOLEUM. I'm a PACK-RAT, after all. And the camera is truly not dead yet...just in a COMA. Or a psychotic fugue state.
