June 30: Dedicated to the passing of June

Eventide {EE-vən-tahyd}
Part of speech: noun.
Origin: Old English, pre-12th century
1. The end of the day. 2. Evening

  My solo-distant, merging-into-duo-distant
(with underscoring)
Eventide outing tonight
is dedicated to the passing of June 2020
Good-bye
here's your hat,
what's your hurry, June

June 27: Dedicated to Before and After

Everyone always hears about
the calm before the storm
well, my solo & distant about town was all about
The Calm After the Storm
We had a sun downpour
as opposed to a sun shower!
It was REALLY coming down fast and furious
with full sun beating down all at the same time
yielding a faint but noticeable rainbow
arching over our house
after it finished up, out and about I went
Really pretty water effects in the macro photo world
very muggy miserable real-feel after-effects weather
Dedicated to Before and Afters

June 26: Dedicated to The Usual Suspects

"Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose"
~ Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr

"The more things change, the more they stay the same."

Hmmmm...that doesn't apply very well, does it?
Because WHAT is changing in these solo/duo
ever-distant run-or-walk-or-whatevers?
Dedicated to the Usual Suspects

June 25: Dedicated to "Spielberg Skies" and Reaching Home

My truncated, any port in a storm
venture out into my little bit of the world
this evening started calmly enough
until the rumblings and grumblings of weather sounded an alarm
the roiling clouds and sudden flashes
sent me scurrying homeward
I dedicate tonight's travels
to "Spielberg Skies"
and reaching home safely

June 24: Dedicated to "J"

My Pre-ZOOM meeting speedwalk into twilight
showed me a "J" on the first uphill
I just happened to be wearing a "J" visor
Theme for the Day is "J"
I found my "J"s fast & easily
got back right on time to ZOOM
only to discover my Zoom meeting started a half hour earlier than
 the Zoom link specified.
(To be fair, the email said the meeting was to begin at 700, but when I logged into Zoom at quarter to 7, it said, "This meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30". So I went for my quick jog.
But at 7:30, it was quite obviously well underway.
It HAD begun at 7:00.)
What!? I missed half the meeting?!
But I got my "J"s

I got my walk done
the rest of the night is mine, mine, mine

June 23: Night Must Fall > Altered States > Roadway Art

Goofing around
with focus and motion
fiddly-faddling around the editing program

My drudging walk in the horrid heat and humidity
is dedicated to What You Will
and ROADWAY
 Art
