And we had a fluke INCREDIBLE sunset that night! It was on the news - best sunset of the whole YEAR there that night - something about the amount of volcanic ash in the air over the islands. As the sun set over the sea, a HUGE silver moon rose on the other side, from behind the palm trees. Spectacular!
There were people all over the beach. Tim, the photographer, did a fabulous job of keeping the "extras" out of our photos - like we were on a private beach! It was awesome.
Maybe next year we'll go back for our 5th anniversary (but I won't hold my breath - my husband HATES flying/travel.) But I can DREAM still...
