I think the isolation makes it feel colder .... which is something when it is so hot at 9pm that all you can hear is panting dogs
Belive me, it was COLD that morning. Not "Nanook of the North" cold, mind you, (this is Maryland, after all) but appreciably below freezing, with a very bitter cold wind.
