yes... it was hot for the beginning heats ... that's to say for we the slowest runners ...

 I'm heading home before the fastest (coolest) heats,  a long drive after my own hot mile

Cymbeline by Chesapeake Shakespeare in the Ruins!

Worried about the weather - the show last week was canceled due to the dangerously high heat index

I got here before the gate was unlocked
