What a sky tonight!
Solo distant 5k
such weird changing
cloud formations
a little rumbling far off
had me scrambling homeward
had me scrambling homeward
but just as suddenly it quieted
followed at near dark
by
some distinct and distant
flickerings on the horizon
I was
almost run down by a pair of deer
in the middle of suburban dusk
Dedicated to my mama on what would be her 105th birthday
It still IS her 105th birthday
even if she isn't here right now
