So Tropical Storm Isaias is due
but we managed to do our
usual 1.5 mile route
(plus an extra bit since we turned back to
arm ourselves with umbrellas when the rain started
that
happened almost immediately, close to home
A couple sloshy,
feet-wetting minutes
mostly just a light shower
no
thunder-clapping or lightning flashing
Yay!
Easy to be distant tonight
We saw only one runner
(runners run in rain, of course)

and no
pedestrians.
Or cats.
Or dog walkers.
Dedicated to the raindrops fallin'
on our heads
cooling everything off!
