TAGGED! I'm IT!

My task is to name my favorite songs...

I LOVE "Annie's Song" by John Denver.

I sang "If I Loved You" in auditions for over 10 years. It's from CAROUSEL by Rodgers and Hammerstein, and within the show itself, I think that it's one of the most beautifully crafted pieces of musical theatre ever written.

I never run in headphones, so I have no favorite running music, although I've been known to sing during Marathons.Usually "Wouldn't It Be Loverly" from MY FAIR LADY, or "Love is a Rose", but it could be anything that pops into mind.

I rarely play any music in the house. I like the quiet, but I do sing while I wash the dishes (although it makes my cat think I'm either howling in pain or calling him to supper...depending on the song).I usually listen to country music in the car, but only now and then. I like the quiet. Or the racket of my own thoughts?

I love Trisha Yearwood songs - like "Hearts in Armour" and "Lonesome Dove".
I love the tenor arias from Puccini's TURANDOT and TOSCA.
I love Gary Morris singing "The Wind Beneath My Wings".
I love Donovan's "Catch The Wind".
I love "The Coventry Carol".
And "Puff the Magic Dragon" still makes me cry...

Wow, haven't heard Puff for a long, long time! I'm really enjoying your photos, Jeanne.

Don't worry about the painting, it will look fine.

Have a happy 4th!

Thanks, K in C!

I ran the DCRRC 4th of July Age-Graded 4-Miler to celebrate the 4th. What else?
