I don't have anymore words to comment how beautiful are your pictures. I think you have to think something of professional for the period when you will be a little more than a....teen ager.
Happy New Year to you and yours.

Wow, these are beautiful photos, Jeanne. Steve would be in heaven with all the lights!

now... watch out. i'm starting to worry about you running about with an apparatus to your eyes. i hope one is open and aimed at your path. i don't want to see those lights dimmed because you smacked into a power box!

I wasn't running on these early morning darkness-to-dawn shots. These were taken on non-race days, yet I got up early and went to the bay to get some pics. I "always" plan to do this, when I see gorgeous dawnings on my drives to races, but don't have the time to stop. Then on non-race days, I'm generally too warm and comfy in bed, and just sleep through the early mornings.
So I FINALLY got myself out of bed for these photos. I want to submit some for our local town calendar next year. I think I can take shots as good as the ones selected this year, and I think it would be REALLY cool to have a photo credit on the town calendar!

By the way, the time I did a full face-plant during a race, requiring six stitches, I wasn't running with my camera. I was in a Baltimore trail race - on the EASIEST portion of the trail - no roots, rocks, or treacherous terrain when I went down. How did I manage THAT? Just sheer native talent, I guess!
