purple memories

I filled the yard and planter boxes with purple flower bulbs last fall, as a memorial to my friend Sherry, and to my big sister Suzy, both of whom passed away in 2007 from recurrences of breast cancer.
Spring 2008 is my Purple Memory Garden Spring.

Purple was the favorite color of both Suzy and of Sherry. My purple girls.
The purple flowers are beautiful. Purple is my favorite color, too :)
