REST.
ROTTEN weather outside - slick, sleety, slippery and cold.

I stayed home and rested with my kitties today.

Here is ZuZu, RIGHT NOW  in my lap.

Day 343. December 9: This is the weather today

wet and drippy

grey and damp

foggy

Day 342. December 8: I shop here

I bought these paper stars at the SPCA

by making a donation for the animals.

I helped with the Rudolph Rompers

I phoJOGraphed the 5k

then I went home quickly-quickly
changed to my  parade costume

grabbed my sign
(which I worked on until quarter to 3 last night)

and joined
the Humane Society of Calvert County volunteers

for the Christmas Parade
in North Beach.

Oh, yes,
I also took Clarence for photos with Santa at about 4:00 p.m.

Six o'clock, you say?
AM? I was on the road, driving to the Jingle Bell Run.
~
PM? I was SLEEPING on the couch, in front on the TV,
ZuZu curled at my feet.

I used to have a sterling silver charm bracelet.

My Mom gave it to me when I was sweet 16,

and I added charms to it - charms given me as gifts,

charms to mark occasions,

charms with special meanings

 throughout the next 10-15 years.
...

and then, it was stolen

I never replaced it.

I still bought silver charms for awhile
...

but it wasn't the same.

Day 336. December 2: Where I stood

I stood in the dining room,

on the rug,

holding ZuZu to take this snapshot.
