Celtic Solstice 2007

SOLSTICE RITES!

The Druids were running

in the Hills of Baltimore!

Found!

My sister Suzy used to be an artist's model, but I couldn't find the sculptor's name who had used her to pose as "Eve".

Well, on Monday, my husband and I went up to New Jersey to deal with Suzy's things that had been placed in storage, and with piles of old letters and bills, and paperwork, I found a postcard from the sculptor's studio, with the sculptor's note (& his name spelled correctly!) on it.

This was my sister, in a different time of her life, before the cancer.

They changed something somewhere along the way. Not allowed to view this photo anymore from this link. I'll delete the entire post as soon as I figure out HOW.

NCR Trail Marathon

No, I did NOT run it.

My current LONG, SLOW distance is 8k/5-miles.

But I borrowed my husband's camera & took photos. (I have had 2 camera melt-downs this year. I am currently the owner of NO working cameras. It is KILLING me.)

This is a terrific event,

and Baltimore Road Runners is a great running club!

When you're getting ready to launch into space, you're sitting on a big explosion waiting to happen.

I arrived at Camp Letts at dawn.

What a beautiful Thanksgiving morning for their Turkey Chase 10k!

maybe I'll get the hang of it.

For now...I guess I'll just have to play "artsy"

Bill is suspicious...

He thinks this "photo shoot" is leading up to trimming his toenails or taking him to the vet.

ACTUALLY,

I'm just trying to show off my new hand-made shawl from Carlene,

and my new Locks-of-Love haircut.

And to show off BILL himself, at the same time, of course.
