- * Life is change. ** Born in New Jersey. (A Jersey Girl, but I don't know "What Exit".) I went to college in Iowa. (NOT in a cornfield, but close.) I was a New Yorker. The proverbial Struggling Actor in Manhattan, and surviving pretty well for 20-something-ish years (I *heart* New York.) *** Now I live below the Mason-Dixon line. (But I'm born and bred a YANKEE.) ***For awhile, I was an avid-almost-rabid runner, running WITH my camera much of the time. I have been experiencing some "aging ? and other issues", but I still doggedly clod-hoppily-plod my way through events, camera usually in hand. Now I'm even SLOWER than I used to be. *** :-P *** ** I used to help socialize local humane society cats in their foster home, and take photos for the website, but my Haven kitties moved to a farm in Virginia in May 2018. ~meow~ Awaiting my next incarnation, or not....*** I still have a phondness for photography & a recurring Flickr Addiction, so go see my photos!

I recommend you as running sports photographer for your local newspaper!!!
love the "leg hugger" but if it was me i'd hope he had a blocked nose being so close to the shoes

Calgary Marathon is July 9!
I ran the adult's 5k at the Capital Crescent after the kid's fun run in this post (3rd age group! I beat the 4th woman in my age group by TWO SECONDS! Skin of my teeth time!), then I did out-and-back slow distance on the trail to make my daily mileage 18 miles.
My final training LSD is due THIS weekend. TWENTY MILES. UGH. It's supposed to hit 90 degrees this weekend...
