Are you in England??? What beautiful scenery!! And I love those angels. And what a clever medal. You look like you just had a walk in the park--awesome!

It was upstate New York, not too far north of the Pennsylvania border. It may be the most beautiful marathon course I've done, including Vermont City Marathon. Hard to say, because VCM was only my 2nd, & I ran camera-less, so I was concentrating more on running and less on the view. (Not that I ever disregard the view! I run marathons FOR the view!)
The medal is of Corning Glass, where the marathon ends. One of the reasons I selected this marathon was that I really REALLY wanted that Corning Glass Finisher's medal!
Also, it was very very cool to run with my Penguin friend, Jo from To (Joanne from Toronto). It was her idea to run this year, their 25th Anniversary race!
I am SOOOOO glad I did.

What a wonderful place! I think that it is a pleasure to run through that landscape. Well when I saw the pictures I was sure you were in UK.......

Wow-glad you run with your camera!
I try to take mine on my bike rides as my runs are at 5:30 and it's usually too dark!
Like the WINEGLASS medal too!
Fun!
