April 29: Dedicated to the big cats

I did it. My walk. Solo. Distant. 

I'm running out of ways 
to make it seem different 

I've been in and out every cul de sac, 
up and down every street. 

No new waysides, no unexplored alleyways. 

That's the way it is. 

Dedicated to the tigers and lions who got COVID-19. 

Eight of them at the Bronx Zoo, as impossible as it sounds. 

They are saying the animals must have caught it from one of the zoo staff who was asymptomatic, or before showing symptoms. 

It still boggles my mind 

Did the zookeeper sneeze in the animal's face? 

Anyway, the big cats seem to be doing well.
