May 31: Dedicated to Smiley Faces

My solo distant 

out-and-abouting today 

was an effort of will 

sometimes I fall victim 
to the sadness of all of this 

 so I set out in search of smiles 

I dedicate this dusk to Happy Faces 

I have always loved Happy Faces
