My raindrops keep fallin' on my head
socially solo, physically distant
stint out and about today
is dedicated to all those kids
missing out on
their proms, their graduations,
their date nights, play dates,
little
leagues, intramurals,
their camping trips, school trips, and summer
camps,
band and orchestra and the school play...
and all the other things
they were in the midst of such a short time ago.
It must feel really,
really LONG to them
