Why did the chicken cross the road?

maybe these GEESE could give their opinion on the matter.
But some FOOL threw food for them right into the turning lane at Chesapeake Beach's main street...so they are currently too busy EATING and blocking TRAFFIC to consider answering such a pointless question. Who really CARES why a chicken crosses the road, anyway?

I had a goose as a pet as a child. Intersting experience. Geese and swans can be quite mean.
Answer: To show the possum it could be done.
Now a new question: Why did the geese go to the Open House?
I don't think they ever made it to the open house...they got sooooo distracted by the FOOD thrown into the road, the silly bird-brains!
I'm sure the geese were just browsing for new nest-decorating ideas...
