NCR Trail Marathon

Usually, I'm the unofficial Official Photographer - I just show up to run with my camera, taking pics as I go.
But on Saturday, I was the official Unofficial Photographer!

Brightroom took the Official Finisher's pics, but I was asked by Baltimore Road Runners Club to take candid pics at the event! Volunteers and post-race awards, etc.

Hi Jeanne -

Thanks for the note. Emergency generators are great. We use so much power though that our Operations team is suggesting a nuclear power plant.... You thought drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge was controversial? You haven't seen anything.

Anyway, congrats on your marathon. I actually have run 11 marathons. That surprises some folks but I actually stay pretty fit. Others think I have run more because, inevitably, someone always tries to dress up like me in one of those races.

Sorry I didn't specifically call out the Lights on the Bay. There are so many appearances that frankly sometimes I forget where I am.

Well... be nice so I don't have to skip your house or leave you a lump of coal. I'm looking forward to receiving your wish list which you can send to me at my email address (Santa_NorthPole_2006@hotmail.com).

Merry Christmas. And please spread the Christmas Cheer with my blog www.clauschronicles.blogspot.com

See, I TOLD you your pictures are wonderful. Congratulations on being asked to shoot the candids, and you did a great job! What kind of camera do you use on the run? I have a littleCanon Powershot A75 but it's a tad heavy and bulky while running. I'm looking for a smaller one.

It's a Minolta DiMage G400 - 4.0 mega pixels. Fits right in my hand, and I always wear it on a neck cord, so I won't drop it.
It took all these pictures I've posted up on my blog, except for the one of the view from my ex-apartment building in NYC.
