And I SLEPT right through it...

At two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 a.m. this morning,

the time and date were 01:02:03 04/05/06.
That won't ever happen again.

You may now return to your normal life.

What about 01:23:45 on 06/07/08?? That's only a little over 2 years away!

There was about 10 e-mails about this on an ultra-listserv that I belong to as well. One guy mentioned 02:02:02 on 02/02/02. I can't believe I slept through both of these happenings. There was a mathematical term he used to describe these phenomenons. Do you know what it is?

I remember my sister emailing me when it was 1:01:01 01/01/01...
but that was already over by the time I got the email.

But Nancy...the digits in your time/date combo are running in order, which is interesting, but the pattern is not as "true" since the 0-digit is missing before the 2, 3, 4, and 5. Still that will only happen once, as well.

Rob - No, I don't think I've ever heard the mathematical term for this sort of thing.

As for happening only ONCE? It would roll around the time zones...actually happening in succession all around the globe, NOT just ONCE. When it occurs would also vary in places that don't switch to Daylight Savings Time.

And as Plods points out, the European way of writing dates puts the day before the month. I like that "2nd chance"! It made me laugh! We wrote dates like that when I worked at the airlines.

And Audrey: Ha-ha-ha! Words instead of a set of photos!
Too Blog-Challenged learns to use LANGUAGE!
It was just a temporary deviation from my norm...
